About Us
ExploreYourFuture.org and Our World is a not-for profit web and film project jointly conceived and originally produced by WHYY and GlenDevon Group. In 2009, Life Science Career Alliance acquired the interactive career website to further expand the promotion of health care and life science careers to students, their parents, educational counselors and workers.
Since then Life Science Career Alliance with the technology and education outreach support of Chester County Intermediate Unit have raised awareness of the website and continue to increase the number of careers available for exploration. The careers demonstrated within ExploreYourFuture.org have a high concentration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) including emerging careers in various industries important to the economy in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
About Life Science Career Alliance
The Life Science Career Alliance was formed as a unique industry and education partnership in 2003 by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional Workforce Investment Board Collaborative and the Delaware Valley Healthcare Council to coordinate the region's efforts to deliver a pool of workers to power health and life sciences. In the years since, the organization has sought to be a convener of the regional leadership of industry, education/training, and public sector stakeholder groups to address health and life science workforce development issues of mutual concern.
